Constantly remind yourself of your ultimate short and long term goals. It is so easy to get distracted by those "shiny bright things" that seem to always pop up. Make a note to yourself to add it to your future list of things to research, then put it aside.

The May 23, 2018 general meeting of Waukesha County Genealogy Society will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church (Nelson Hall), 200 Richard St., Waukesha, WI 53189. A short business meeting will be held at 6:45 PM with Steven Schellin's presentation to follow at 7:00 PM. Steven will share ideas about various technologies that are useful in making more efficient use of your time and energy in your pursuit of your genealogy goals.

Thomas Staats will be sharing on a very interesting topic at our Wednesday April 25th meeting. He will be sharing about "The American Flag". It had a very interesting and colorful history. The meeting will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church (Nelson Hall), 200 Richard St., Waukesha, Wisconsin. If Waukesha Public Schools activities are canceled due to inclement weather the meeting will also be canceled.

The Wednesday March 28th presentation will deal with a Norwegian Homesteader - Berta Mydland. Her life in the new world with it's trials and successes will be explored. The meeting will start with a short business meeting at 6:45PM with the presentation by Nancy J. Hodgson to follow at 7:00PM. We will meet at Southminster Presbyterian Church (Nelson Hall), 200 Richard Street, Waukesha, Wisconsin. If the Waukesha Public School System cancels events that evening due to weather issues our meeting will also be canceled.
