Remember to Add Your Telephone Number

To be a good genealogist you must provide a way for people to get back to you! If you send a card to an elderly family member or friend add your cell number to the card. Just in case if a family member has to reach out to you for them.

DON'T FORGET WILD CARDS

When doing research of any type don't forget the spelling of surnames can vary from record to record, generation to generation. Wild Cards can be a lifesaver in this regard. Remember WILD CARDS and how they are used varies from one records provider to another.

New Information on Ancestry.com

If you haven't gone to your Ancestry.com account lately you may want to go there soon. This is for those of you that have your DNA done with this company. There are more breakdowns in the Ethnic Estimates for Northern Europe.

GREAT WEBSITE Shared by One of our Members

Word of warning - do not just click on the link, follow the instructions below.

First type in the URL:

After the last slash (/) put in the initials of the state where your ancestors lived. EX:  I checked out Maryland -...https://ldsgenealogy.com/MD

Went to the county and cemetery, where a common ancestor was buried, but has no headstone. (We had found this on our MD trip in 2019.) It showed an outline of where the burial site is found. WOW!!!!!

Enjoy....
