Wednesday September 26 Meeting, WWI

Fall is in the air! Time to get our genealogy harness back on! Russell Horton, Reference & Outreach Archivist, Wisconsin Veterans Museum will be our presenter at this meeting. Russel's presentation will be "Wisconsin in WWI and the Stories of Some Wisconsin Men and Women who Served". 

As you may be aware this is the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI. WWI and that time frame played an important part in the lives of our ancestors.

 Our meeting will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 200 Richard St, Waukesha WI. The meeting will start at 6:45PM.

If you have not renewed your membership for the new year you can do it at that time.

GENEALOGY WORKSHOP FOR YOUTH SEPTEMBER 29

Waukesha County Genealogical Society and Waukesha County UW-Extension 4-H are jointly presenting a Genealogy Workshop for Youth Saturday September 29, 2018 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm in the Community Room at the Waukesha State Bank, 151 E.
