One of the best ways to learn about genealogy is to exchange ideas with others who share an interest in researching the history of their families. Membership in WCGS brings beginning and experienced genealogists together on a regular basis to meet, discuss, and learn.
Membership in the WCGS is available to anyone with an interest in genealogy upon the payment of dues. Membership cost is $12 per year for an individual or $15 per year for a family from September to August. Membership will be prorated at $1 per month for mid year join.

| The membership year of the society begins in September. Membership meetings of the WCGS are held on the 4th Wednesday of the month in September, October, January, February, March, April, May, June and July. The November/December meeting will be held on the 1st Wednesday of December. We have a potluck in August.
Meetings of the Society are held at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 200 Richard Street, Waukesha, WI 53189. The meeting begins at 6:45 and is followed by a genealogical program.
All members of the WCGS receive the WCGS Newsletter. It is published 3 times per year and each issue contains news of the society, family history queries, and a calendar of events, including meetings and programs of interest. The subscription volume begins in September. Members will receive three newsletters, via email, during the membership year. If a hard copy is requested the fee is $6/year.
