Waukesha County Genealogy Society Meeting Wednesday April 25
Thomas Staats will be sharing on a very interesting topic at our Wednesday April 25th meeting. He will be sharing about "The American Flag". It had a very interesting and colorful history. The meeting will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church (Nelson Hall), 200 Richard St., Waukesha, Wisconsin. If Waukesha Public Schools activities are canceled due to inclement weather the meeting will also be canceled.

WCGS March 28, 2018 Norwegian Homesteader
The Wednesday March 28th presentation will deal with a Norwegian Homesteader - Berta Mydland. Her life in the new world with it's trials and successes will be explored. The meeting will start with a short business meeting at 6:45PM with the presentation by Nancy J. Hodgson to follow at 7:00PM. We will meet at Southminster Presbyterian Church (Nelson Hall), 200 Richard Street, Waukesha, Wisconsin. If the Waukesha Public School System cancels events that evening due to weather issues our meeting will also be canceled.

Holiday Folk Fair Nov 17 - 19, 2017
Holiday Folk Fair International will be held at the State Fair Park Exposition Center Friday November 15 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday November 16 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday November 17 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.. $12.00 dollars admission for adults, $10.00 for children 6 to 12 and $10.00 for Seniors 62 and over. Children under 5 and all military personnel with a military ID card are admitted free. Great ethnic food, dancing and crafts. Hope to see you there!
